Words that matter - We put up a snippet in our newsletter that business Coach Chris Green wrote recently on LinkedIn. Read the post here. It’s well worth a read. One of our subscribers who runs a fair-sized Farming operation in England said this on the back of reading Chris’s article:

Hi Dwain,
Me again, I’ve learnt a fair bit from your newsletter, but shit the bed, the piece below hit me in the forehead like a wrecking ball!
We had a fatality here back in 2018, something which I will never truly recover from, but the words just resonated on how my life has become as we’ve got bigger. I’m often accused of being present but not in the room by my wife, and this article just struck home on every point on where I’ve ended up. From the outside, a great business but one I can never switch off from, and where I feel so leant on by so many that the weight is suffocating!
Off to find a mentor. Thank you.

Old industry, new direction - We wrote how the Peanut industry has been revived in Queensland on the back of a new product targeted at the protein-eating boom.

We’ve had COVID, and a series of wars. There will be something else that pops up to keep us on our toes. One Farmer reckons, look out when our power grid collapses. Get those generators out….
