  • Get what they are getting - It's time to tell. So I'll let you in on a secret here. We just clicked over 600 paid subscribers. You may think that's impressive, or you may think that's not. But let me tell you that a lot of hard work and constant turning up has gone into getting those 600 subscribers. But the best thing about it is that, when they come in, they remain what we call 'sticky'. Why? You'll have to ask them that, but at a guess, I'd say they're getting value, and we are compounding their knowledge. The way we consume content is changing, with tradition going out the door, and new habits are being formed. If you're keen to compound your knowledge, come join us at the club.

  • This is what we have been writing about:

  • We mentioned compounding knowledge above and wrote about it in an article with some great examples.

  • Old Silos don't really look the part, and they are inefficient compared to the new ones. One Farmer demolished his, but getting rid of them is not easy.

  • Bill Malcolm is like our very own Jeff McDonald, and Bill outlined some great wisdom when he spoke in Birchip recently.

  • We have an article from a guest columnist in a bit of a "Dear Farmer" piece on how to treat the Contractors you engage on the Farm.

  • We previewed the podcast we did with long-time Machinery industry stalwart Ash Dinnning. The industry is changing.

  • We wrote about how Farmers stockpile more stuff these days, and how it's a risk-mitigation thing.

  • What brings energy to a business? Or how do we bring energy to a business? It's something that's needed for a business to be successful.

  • Don't get caught Farming for the forecast. So, steer clear of making decisions around what the weather might or might not do.

  • Well-manured green grass and lots of it can be the making of a Country Town. We went through a few "green grass" towns last week.

  • The Plant Breeding Rights royalty model is broken, well, at least that's our opinion. We had some good replies to this story.

  • Have a great Wednesday, and subscribe to start a new habit.
