• 3 new contributors - I put this statement up last week, but it's worth repeating: "Agriculture doesn't need another journalist giving you one angle. It needs people willing to challenge the assumptions everyone else accepts, back their thinking, and put a different spin on the story being told. That's what I'm here to do". This is why we have 3 new contributors. They all write beautifully, and their articles will be chock-full of ideas and takeaways from their own experiences and beliefs. One wrote the statement above. • Said Farmer Charlie Blomfield - "The way people consume information has fundamentally changed. News is no longer weekly - it's live. It's discussed in real time. It's shaped in forums, group chats, and comment sections. And yet, much of Agriculture is still trying to "cut through" using models built for a slower world".

• Is your business or Farm sale ready? This story is about Mort and Co and how they have always had their business in a position where it could be sold at any point in time. That time is now.

• Someone said that if you knew the outcome of a board game before you play you wouldn't play. We relate that back to Farming and how its unpredictable nature is the appeal.

• The GRDC put a post up yesterday that left its levy payers angry. Sometimes we really do need to read the room.

• Barry Clark got some advice when he was young. "Don't be envious, be curious". Jealousy and envy sucks the life out of your system. We explain.

• I bought some veggies and salad at the supermarket, and I thought it might have totalled $80 or $90. It was $49.90. Veggies are cheap, and Farmers want that changed.
